Evaluations Night 11/3/2021 FYI
Kennebunk Hoops (KBH) parents – we are confirmed for player evaluations tonight from 7:00-8:00 and Courts 1 and 2 at XL Sports in Saco. Please make sure to arrive 15-30 minutes (6:30-6:45) prior for registration, pinnie assignment, etc as there will be quite a few players arriving at the same time. Members of the KBH board will be there at a table to help parents and players.
A few important items:
- Please bring your basketball – each players will need their own basketball for dribbling and shooting skills – please make sure to have their ball marked to help make sure they find their own ball.
- Masks – as previously discussed are optional and supported for those families who wish to still use – programs and operations are in alignment with XL Sports COVID guidelines as well as the guidance from the Maine CDC
- Effort - have fun and a good attitude – the KBH team is building competitive teams for the Maine Event league playing against other teams within the Southern Maine community – this is an evaluation session to learn where your child is from a basketball skills development point of view. There will be cases where we are limited to available number of teams and coaches but we will ensure to recommend other paths (Arundel REC) to help build confidence and development on the basketball floor.
- Parents are welcome to stay and support/watch their player from the sitting room upstairs as we put the players through some working drills for evaluations.
