Two options for our players within our RSU21 community:
- RSU21 REC LEAGUE: Play in the Local REC league run by Arundel REC for all 3 towns (Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel) – there is no required for player evaluations – simply register your player and they will be placed on a team for basketball development and games – the website link is: https://arundelme.myrec.com/info/activities/program_details.aspx?ProgramID=30124
- TRAVEL TEAM: Kennebunk Hoops Travel League Program – this is the our Travel League Program where we play teams from other towns throughout the state that is run by the Southern Maine Hoops League (SMHL) – in order to be considered player evaluations are required and will be held MON 10/28 between 5:30-8:00 – actual times for each grade level and age group will be shared Sunday Night to allow for all players to register and be considered. The number of SMHL league teams we have each year varies depending on the number of competitive players that tryout. This year we are expecting to have 4-5 teams: 6th Boys, 5/6th Girls, 5th Boys, 3/4 Girls and 3/4 Boys. This team structure may change based on the output of player attendance and evaluations. For more information on the KBH Travel Team please go to the website at this link: https://www.kennebunkhoops.com/Default.aspx?tabid=2326653
Please note that unfortunately this does mean that there will be cuts within this process, but if a player is not considered for the Travel Team then we highly recommend the RSU21 Local REC League.
If you wish to sign up your player for Player Evaluations, please go to the KBH website, login with and sign your players up for the $0 Player Evaluations for MON night. The direct link is below: https://www.kennebunkhoops.com/Default.aspx?tabid=2293321&isLogin=True
If you have any questions whatsoever – please use the [email protected] email address and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks again for considering – we hope to see your players on the courts this winter in either of the programs.
Have a good one!
